Meadows School – Ofsted rated Good!

2019 has been a good year for Meadows School. The new Headteacher, Paula Forth has already introduced some innovative and exciting changes that have been embraced by the pupils, carers and staff.

“Meadows school was ready to have somebody new at the helm who could bring a new perspective to teaching and learning, that met our pupil’s aspirations and challenges going forward.”

This was supported by our wonderful Ofsted inspection outcome in March 2019, which took place just 10 weeks after Paula came into post. Ofsted paid particular compliments to the “Effective partnership working between school staff, care professionals and therapists that ensures that pupils’ emotional, mental health and learning needs are met effectively.”

Meadows school are not resting on their “Good” outcome though and are already working at introducing our new innovative curriculum which will prepare our pupils for their future so watch this space.”

Meadows school are pleased to welcome our new Educational Psychologist, Pete Clough.   Pete will be working with Paula Forth, our Headteacher to help our young people reach their full potential by improving their learning experiences at Meadows School.  “We are all excited to welcome Pete who will be a great asset to the school and will complement our very experienced Art therapist, Krista Howell and the therapy team.
